Antonio Rodriguez

Antonio Rodriguez was born in Valencia in 1963 and grew up in Spain. After studying in his homeland and in Milan, in 1989 he founded Estudio A6 in Valencia, which deals with product design. In 1963 he decided to move to Milan and start a working collaboration with the Taipei Design Centre, Studio Matsunaga and Ugolini Design. Between 2000 and 2005 he was a professor at the IED, the European Institute of Design in Milan. In 2003 he became a partner of Studio Matteo Thun & Partners, for which he is responsible for the product design section. In the studios in Milan and Shanghai he was involved in the development of architecture, interior design and product design projects. Together with Matteo Thun, he designed the Laguna table lamp for Artemide.
