Francesco Paretti

Francesco Paretti was born in Terni and graduated in industrial design at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome. He has worked as a design and engineering consultant, designing numerous products for various Italian companies. In 1997 and 1998 he won the “San Valentino Oro” goldsmith award and the “Aprilia Design Prize 2002” international design competition. He has worked as a professor in various institutes such as the Polytechnic of the Arts “G.B. Cignaroli "of Verona and the Industrial Design Department" L.U.D.I. " in Rome. Now, instead, he teaches Industrial Design at the “IED” in Rome. Many of his design works have been exhibited in Design exhibitions. For SLAMP he designed two lamps, floor and table, called Bach Floor and Bach Table. Their slender and refined shape with rigorous and elegant shapes, able to follow any architectural environment.
