Jordi Llopis

Jordi Llopis is a Spanish designer, born in Barcelona. He studied industrial design and began his career working in the Metalarte design team, in the studio of Niall O'Flynn and in Uli Marchsteiner Designer. In 1995 he created his own design studio based in Barcelona. He is the author of numerous projects especially in the field of lighting. Since 2000 he has collaborated with important companies in the sector. For the Faro Barcelona brand, he designs the Cocotte lamps, modern and elegant, ideal for interior lighting in the home. He worked as a teacher, was a lecturer at the European Institute of Design in Barcelona IED and at the BCD Barcelona Center de Disseny. Llopis has also participated in more than fifteen major exhibitions and international design-related events. Many of his creations have been exhibited in art galleries and museums.
