Philippe Starck

Philippe Starck was born in Paris in 1949, he is an inventor, architect, designer, artistic director. He is considered a visionary who never stops experimenting with new ideas, crossing the boundaries of contemporary design.
His mission is to make people's lives better with his inventions, since an object must first of all be useful and then beautiful. His career includes over 10,000 creations that embrace different types of products from chairs to lamps to accessories for the table. We can mention the iconic Masters, Louis Ghost, A.I. and La Marie by Kartell; the Miss Sissi, SuperArchimoon and Guns lamps by Flos; the Juicy Salif juicer by Alessi.

For Kartell he created Goodnight, the lamp with the appearance of a candle, with its soft and warm reflections. Goodnight is available in a wall-mounted version and a battery-powered table lamp, with an autonomy of up to 40 hours and three different light intensities.
