Villatosca

Villa Tosca was born in 2001 from the experience of DMC Villa Tosca, research center for design based in Milan. DMC Villa Tosca provides cutting-edge design services and represents the meeting point between the world of design and the industrial world. The accurate research on design trends and the particular research methodology perfected right away allowed DMC Villa Tosca to develop numerous innovative products for small and large companies. From some successful initiatives of the DMC Villa Tosca, projects such as aedo-to.com, the virtual community for designers and the Ludea project were born, wooden toys inspired by physical and mathematical principles. For Lumen Center Italia, historic company producing lighting products, Villa Tosca designs numerous collections of lamps: "Leaves" pendant lamps, ceiling lamps and wall lamps made with laser-cut metal sheets and hand-shaped to recreate the shape of a crown of a tree, with an original and modern design, "Virgola", LED wall lamp with minimal design and "Coral" lamps that combine the aesthetics of the Baroque style with the natural shapes of the coral. Villa Tosca Design is now present in Italy, in United States and Japan, and offers consulting services, training and research in the field of design for companies and universities all over the world.
