Charles Kalpakian

Charles Kalpakian was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1982. After collaborating with numerous and prestigious agencies, he opens his own studio so that he can design and create his own personal creations. He draws inspiration from his French and Lebanese roots as well as capturing images directly from street art. These influences take shape through the decorative arts that take shape from Lebanese history and geography. Its design line is flexible but at the same time presents a clean cut. Focusing on both products and interior design, all of his initiatives are the combination of modernity and tradition. Among his projects we see the 'Tubes' family of suspension, wall and ceiling lamps that are expressed through pure forms and finally the Wall Shadows family, modular wall lamps that recall a work of art. In addition to creating lighting bodies, however, he also focuses on the design of other accessories.
