Luca Turrini

Luca Turrini is one of the leading light designers in Italy.

Turrini's professional training begins in the marketing departments of one of the main active groups in lighting field; soon became responsible for image, communication and marketing. He has the opportunity to immediately collaborate with the most important figures in international design.

Turrini immediately developed the ability to produce objects whose concept is strongly linked to marketing elements. During his work experience in marketing, Luca Turrini refined his knowledge in the architectural and lighting field.

In 2007 Turrini founded the Format Design Studio, a structure that deals simultaneously with the designing of design lighting and awareness of "light".

Throughout his career, Luca Turrini has won important international awards: in 2009 and 2010 he won the Red Dot Design Award for two lamps designed by him.
