Doriana e Massimiliano fuksas

Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas are the founders of one of the most successful international architecture studies in the world. They have creatively developed an exorbitant variety of urban projects, airports, museums and places for culture or music, convention centers, offices and design collections. Based in three pivotal cities, Rome, Paris and Shenzhen, the studio has more than 600 projects underway. Massimiliano Fuksas was born in Rome in 1944 and after graduating in architecture at “La Sapienza” in Rome he became one of the main protagonists of the contemporary architectural scene. It counts an innumerable amount of international awards. He has also worked as a Visiting Professor at numerous universities such as Columbia in New York. Doriana Mandrelli Fuksas instead, born in Rome, graduated in history of modern and contemporary architecture at "La Sapienza" in Rome in 1979 and then continued her studies at ESA in Paris. She is the director and manager of Fuksas Design. In addition to having carried out educational activities, she was also the author of the Design column of the newspaper "La Repubblica". In addition to having won numerous awards, she has obtained the title as Chevalier de l'Ordre de la Légion d'Honneur Française.
