Tommaso Ragnisco

Born in 1971, Tommaso Ragnisco lives in Rome and graduated in Industrial Design with the project of a spaceship. He is a sculptor, designer, painter, make-up artist, special effects technician and set designer. He founded the 21LAB design studio in 1995 but remained active only until 2008. In 2012, together with two other designers (Marco Zamponi and Massimiliano Forcella), he founded the multimedia design studio LABNORMAL. In the applied arts he collaborates with important industrial, television and educational museums such as SLAMP, Mizar for scientific dissemination, Fox Italia and Montessori National Opera. For two years he has been directing the artistic and scientific laboratory “Le mani e la mente” for a "Montessori" primary school in Rome, and has also been a professor of film scenography at the IED (European Institute of Design). He designs and produces short films intended as real "windows of expressive freedom" because his greatest passion remains always cinema. Among his projects there is also the organization of two personal exhibitions, "Antropolis ritratti di Robot" and "Antropolis Basiliche Volanti".
